Employing 68 people, ICM officially split into two companies, focusing on engineering and marketing.

While the two newly formed companies still operated out of the same campus, the commodity marketing portion of its business was renamed "ICM Marketing" in April. At the same time, ICM engineering was busy working on nine dryer and stack projects.
