Commonwealth Agri-Energy, LLC

This 30 MGY plant in Hopkinsville, KY, is a 100% farmer-owned facility that features our dryer system, regenerative thermal oxidizer, and bio-methanator. Expanded in just seven months from an original ICM-designed 20 MGY plant, it processes 12 million bushels of corn to produce 111,000 tons of dried distiller's grains and capture 110,000 tons of carbon dioxide annually. The plant also extracts up to a third of the oil from its corn to be sold to the animal fat feed market.
